Paralympic Gold medalist Sir Sir Lee Pearson has been named ambassador for The Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust.

Pearson joins celebrities including Robbie Williams, Jo Brand and Rachel Shenton in supporting the charity, and he commented 'I was incredibly moved and inspired to see the great work being done at the Donna Louise and to meet the staff, children and young people who benefit from the work of this incredible charity. I am looking forward to supporting the charity and I hope I can help shine a light on the amazing people and work they do to support children and young adults with life threatening illnesses'.
